Contemporary glass by Elaine Miles

Designer-Maker, Elaine Miles, transforms space by creating
an installation of glass where conceptual design converges with
handcrafted
contemporary
form. Her glass objects have a simplicity of design, yet are
rich in texture and reflections. This exhibition at Totem Design
titled "Visible/Invisible" is
Elaine's International Solo Debut. Each piece of glass is individual
and unique, and these well crafted forms cross boundaries between
functional and non-functional, colorful and colorless form.
Elaine challenges the viewer to realize that the spaces between
the objects
are as significant as the design objects themselves.
