Two powerhouse Swedish manufacturers come together to present the best
design Scandinavia, or the world for that matter, has to offer. Look for
Swedish triumvirate Claesson, Koivisto,
Rune to be on-hand to share their
vision for a brave new world enhanced by good design. Stop by and chill out
in an environment guaranteed to transport your mind away to the
Archipelagos.
Swedese comes from amazing showings in Cologne and Stockholm. Launching new
products by Jeffrey Bernett, Torbjörn Andersen/Norway
Says, Ola Rune, and
Henrik Schulz. Awards were abundant this year including The Forsnäs Prize
2003 for the stool Twister designed by Yuriko Takahashi.
Offecct, fresh from a critically acclaimed presentation in Milan earlier
this month, launches more editions to their branded "Design for creative
meeting places". Working with top designers such Eero
Koivisto, Ola Rune,
Marten Claesson, Jean-Marie Massaud, Thomas Eriksson, Karim
Rashid and this
years focus on female designers Monica
Forster, Marre Moerel and Anki
Gneib.
Running concurrently with the ICFF (International Contemporary Furniture
Fair) this show is guaranteed to create a buzz in the A&D community and
beyond so don't miss it!
